The city has much to offer to its visitors in terms of culturally enriching experiences. A visit to the National Quilt Museum is a must for any trip to Paducah. This is because it’s a marker of the fact that the city holds one of the largest quilt shows in the North American region. In fact, the city was designated as the 7th City of Crafts and Folk Art in the world by UNESCO. A visit will include seeing contemporary quilt art along with other details about the quilter. The exhibition rotates the collection frequently so each visit is different from the last.

There’s also a wide variety of festivals and parades that you can attend at Paducah such as the Dragon Boat Festival and the Christmas parade. You can also enjoy outdoor events and activities at one of the many parks in the city. These are made more pleasant thanks to the climate in Paducah, which is mostly warm throughout the year. Temperatures in July can reach a peak of 89.4F and since it is the hottest month, summer usually calls for turning on the air conditioners at home. January marks itself as the coldest with temperatures as low as 26F.
